Helping Seniors At Home

Our service was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves to age with dignity in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar treasures and memories. We understand that what many seniors need isn’t necessarily complex medical care, but rather a friendly face, a helping hand with daily tasks, and someone trustworthy they can rely on. Whether it’s assistance with shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, or simply sharing a cup of tea and conversation, we’re here to provide that crucial support.

Expectations

Please note:

We can assist with all the services mentioned above and can customise our support based on your specific needs. We can do a little bit of everything! For example we  do light cleaning and garden tidying. However if you need your whole house cleaned – we can help you find a cleaner to suit your needs. If need regular garden maintenance we can help you find a gardener. If you need a picture putting on the wall we most likely can do that! But if you have a DIY project  such as shelving, we can help you find the right person for that job.

A friendly note about our services: While we don’t administer medication, we’re happy to collect your prescriptions, help you order repeat prescriptions, assist you organising tablets in pill boxes, or help you arrange for your medicine to be pouched.

Our home help services focus on household support rather than personal hygiene assistance such as bathing or toileting.

We can help you co-ordinate the right care that you need, and we work alongside health support workers for many of our clients.

how does this work?

Get in touch with us and let us know what you need help with. We will then arrange a visit to come and meet you and discuss your needs further. If you wish to go ahead we will then make the necessary arrangements to have one of our home helpers visit you at an agreed time.

Prices

The cost is £20 an hour.

The minimum booking is for 1 hour.

(Additional expenses may be payable for certain services where travel is involved eg food shopping in St Austell is an extra £3).

We ask for 24hrs notice if you wish to cancel.
